Building bridges
Van 17 tot en met 25 oktober 2026 verandert het iconische Rotterdam Ahoy in het mondiale podium voor de WK turnen. Met uitzinnige fans, bruisende fan zones en βs werelds beste turners op de vloer wordt dit een kampioenschap als geen ander. Terwijl atleten hun Olympische droom najagen en strijden voor nationale trots, vormt Rotterdam het decor voor verbinding – tussen generaties, culturen en disciplines.

Onder het thema Building Bridges is dit evenement meer dan alleen sport. Het draait om verbinding, tussen mensen, generaties en culturen. Het thema komt overal terug: van topsport in Ahoy tot breedtesportactiviteiten in de stad, van side-events tot campagnes met de slogan #BuildingBridges.

Over the years, it has grown into ππ― ππ½πΌπΏππ, including Artistic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Dance, Parkour, Tumbling, Gymnastics for All, Wheel Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Adapted Gymnastics, and Trampoline Gymnastics. Adapted sports and activities for kids and seniors are part of gymnastics too β everyone can join! π€ΈββοΈ
